1. what color trends are you most excited for this fall 2023?
"i'm looking forward to dipping my fingers into some latte browns and burnt oranges. every season comes with its own neutral polish shade and this autumn it's brown. i love how varied and versatile it is. it can be a milky latte hue or a deep dark espresso and, whichever shade you choose, it goes with absolutely everything. It's a colour that proves that neutral need not be boring. i'm excited about burnt oranges because they're new territory for me. i rarely wear orange nails - or orange clothing for that matter. however, there is something about a toasted orange that makes it so current and wearable."
2. what fall nail designs are you looking forward to the most?
summer was full of busy, buzzy nail art. this fall, however, nails are leaning to the quiet luxury trend;
"more refined, simplistic nail art. looks like a coloured french tip, individual placed rhinestones or minimal chrome accents add personality without stealing the show."
3. any nail care essentials/tips you want to share?
i'm very excited about a shift in size for nails this season: short, clean nails are back in! i've always been
"an advocate for shorter nails. to me, there is nothing chicer than a dark polish, applied perfectly to a short square nail. the best thing about this trend is that it takes away the anxiety of having to grow your nails out; it's truly the easiest shape to wear. however, when your nails aren't growing past the tip of your finger, it really shines a light on healthy nails and cuticles. make sure to always be applying cuticle oil. i love essie's latest "on a roll" apricot cuticle oil. it distributes the perfect amount of oil and keeps cuticles healthy and hang-nail free!"
